Traditionally you would handout red envelopes to your loved ones during New Years and if they wanted to write anything they would write on the back of the card, which is typically red. Being that the background is red, often times it is hard to read the message being written and the flimsiness of the envelope does not help the cause either.
What was created was a sturdy card that can both hold money and have space to write your loved ones a message. The card can also be put on display and was created using the highest quality materials available for mass production.
A group project to create a postcard for upcoming students to the College of Technology at the University of Houston. The Postcard consists of variable data for the image, program name, address, message, and color for each individual using XMPie.
My role in this group project was graphic design and layout for the group. I found images and followed University of Houston guidelines for the image type, color, and font choices.
This project won a first-place award at RedFest.
